So, I've been tagged by :iconthe-strider-retsu:

Mention your top five favorite all time albums, that you can't stop listening to.

Rules are simple: Just give the top 5 and why you love em. Oh, and no Greatest Hits either.

Well, well, this made me surf around my collection, to avoid forgetting any of my favs. A couple of the discs might sound weird, but that's the way it is XD

5. Mägo de Oz - Finisterra.

While Mägo might not be the best band around, musically speaking, they are still pretty fun to hear to. Finisterra has just too many fun songs to hear to not mention it :3 It's a double disc, but says albums, not discs, so I guess it counts. Fav songs are probably Satania, Fiesta Pagana and La Cruz de Santiago. I can reccomend this one to anyone that wants some fun, easy to hear music that is NOT commercial pop XD

4. Rhapsody of Fire (formerly Rhapsody) - Symphony of Enchanted Lands

Sadly, Rhapsody disbanded a couple of years ago due to artistcal diferences. This album was the one that pushed me to liking Power Metal, and is still high on my favourites list. This album has the song with my favourite guitar solo ever. If this tag was just about fav songs, Emerald Sword would have had a chance to reach #1. The rest of the disc is really good, too, and in fact, was kinda hard to leave it on #4, but...

3. Tobias Sammet (and others) - Avantasia: The Metal Opera

Avantasia (the first CD. the second part didn't live up, sadly. Now that Sammet formed a band called Avantasia, both the CD and the single have been really good), is, plain and simple, the best metal opera I've heard. From Snakes on the Way to Paradise, to the intro, to the end, each song is part of a whole, with absolutely nothing that shouldn't be there. I couldn't take a single song from this one even if I tried, so I won't

2. Blind Guardian - The Forgotten Tales.

I know, I know... Forgotten Tales is not exactly Blind Guardian, as it contains both versions from their own songs and covers. The problem is... it contains MASTER covers (both Mr.Sandman and Surfin' USA are way better than the originals, and their version of Oldfield's To France is simply worth hearing to ANYONE). This CD also demonstrates Hansi's incredible voice, as he changs from one style to other. Also, it contains Lord of the Rings, which could also rate high on my fav song list. (it's definetly my fav slow one).

1. Sonata Artica - Reckoning Night

My experience with this CD was weird... the first two songs are actually nothing special, and even quite bad for SA's standards... then the rest of the CD is simply, a marvellous song after the other. To put this is perspective... from song 3 (This ain't your Fairytale) to the end, ALL songs are on my favourite song list. It also contains two of the songs that are definetly on my top 5, the one I just mentioned and Wildfire. I can't reccomend this CD enough (as well are pretty much any from this band). Go listen it, you'll thank me later.

Aaand.. these people are tagged. Go do the tag or don't, but you ARE tagged :p

I've gotta say I'm a fan of Hana. She's a cool character, though she seems to be a magnet for trouble.

Then again, I know plenty of girls who are like that, and that's part of why we love them.
:iconseiferalmas:
Always nice for Hana to have more fans =)

Yeah. she's a magnet for trouble. Both for herself and other girls, which is the fun part. =)
:iconsonic8005:
Yeah, she is. She's a cute trouble magnet.

I've got at least one character like her who's just as much a magnet as any, but that's not the point.

Point is, she's a fun mage character. Just wanted to say that.
